Video: Trump Rally Attendees In Coachella Desert Stranded With No Bus To Take Them Back After Gas Shortage. MAWA Taunt "He Didn't Pay The Drivers" On Social Media

Attendees of the last Trump rally in Coachella, California, were left disappointed after there was no bus to take them back to the car parking lot after the campaign ended.

The MAGA attendees on Saturday, were forced to wait for hours before assistance came. The parking lot was about 2 hours away from the event venue – a perilous journey in the Colorado desert that many fit and healthy adults would avoid, not to speak of the elderly.

Trump had bussed his supporters to the Coachella venue, 5 miles from their pick-up spot. However, his supporters were abandoned after he finished his campaign and the free transport which was previously provided was not seen.

Many supporters shared videos of their frustration on social media, wondering where the buses that were operational at the beginning, and which numbered about 30, went. An online user said only two buses were operational at that time, with thousands of people waiting in the line.

Where speculations of sabotage amid frustration went up, an X user reported that one of the drivers told them that the reason there was no bus to take them back was because the gas stations in charge of fueling the buses were all depleted.

He continued that some of the buses were even stranded on the road after they ran out of gas, and revealed that about 60 buses were booked for the event but the gas stations servicing Coachella’s route were not refueled for Trump’s rally, after the last event. Later he would tweet that the driver of the bus he was in was just ordered to stop picking up stranded attendees.

However, the unforgiving internet was quick to assume that Trump did not pay the bus drivers in full, and following the fallout, the transporters decided to stop their services. A new acronym MAWA – Make America Wait Again was immediately created. It claimed that if the former president could not properly plan for the welfare (transportation, restrooms, food & water) of his supporters, how could he manage the country with its complexities?
