Matt Gaetz Allegedly Attended a Drug-Fueled Sex Party in 2017 With Minor Present, New Court Filing Reveals

Matt Gaetz Allegedly Attended Drug Fueled Sex Party With Minor New Court Filing Reveals

Recent court filings have implicated U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz in a scandal involving a drug-fueled sex party with a female minor. The documents, filed late Thursday, include sealed affidavits from three eyewitnesses who claim Gaetz attended the party in July 17 at the Florida home of lobbyist Chris Dorworth.

The party reportedly involved cocaine, ecstasy, and alcohol, with several middle-aged men and young women, including the minor who is a 17-year-old high school junior identified in the documents as A.B. According to NOTUS, the affidavits revealed that A.B. was naked at the party and that several of the attendees were engaged in sexual activities. The news outlet also noted that is the first time that sworn testimony has publicly placed Gaetz at a party with a minor present.

Matt Gaetz has previously denied any involvement with sex trafficking or having sex with a minor during an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

The filings were part of a lawsuit to recover legal fees from Dorworth, who hosted the event. In 2021, Joel Greenberg, a former associate of the Florida congressman, claimed in a confession letter that Gaetz paid him to arrange sex with several women, including a 17-year-old girl. NOTUS reports that Greenberg is currently serving an 11-year sentence for charges including sex trafficking of a child

The court documents, although heavily redacted, provide a detailed account of the party and the individuals who attended. The documents also mention that Matt Gaetz came with a former girlfriend at the time while A.B. drove to the party in her mother’s car. This former girlfriend is identified in the filings as B.G., and defense lawyers said she has corroborated A.B.’s testimony.
