A former player for Manchester United, Mason Greenwood, has officially been signed by Olympique Marseille, marking a very important career move following his departure from Old Trafford.
Popular football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated this on Thursday via his X page, stating, “Official, confirmed. Mason Greenwood signs in as new Olympique Marseille number 10.”
Romano, the transfer expert, revealed that the terms of the deal include a €26 million fixed fee, €5 million in add-ons, and a 50% sell-on clause for the Red Devils.
The transfer is the result of extensive efforts by Marseille’s management.
Romano wrote, “Pablo Longoria and Mehdi Benatia, working on deal for weeks and got it done.”
Romano also said Marseille’s manager, Roberto De Zerbi, played an active role in convincing the football star, calling Mason almost every day.
