Here are various video clips that captured the operation where members of a gang blocked a prison van that was conveying their French leader, Mohamed “The Fly” Amra, to another location, and successfully rescued him.
Footage from the operation which looked like a clip from a Hollywood action movie saw a car ram the van carrying their gang leader, blocking it as it came out from a toll gate.
Four heavily armed men emerged and after a shootout, they escaped with their leader.
The shooting left 3 prison guards killed and another three seriously wounded, as the French police ask the public for help.
