Valentina Gomez in a motivational video advised voters not to be weak and gay as she gears up for the polls. “In America, you can do anything you want, so don’t be weak and gay. Stay fucking hard”, she says as she runs down a street wearing a protective vest in an ad.

“August 6th is the day we take Missouri back from these corrupt politicians”, she captioned, tagging Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan.

Valentina Gomez, a Republican candidate for Missouri secretary of state is known for a strong stand against LGBT. In a previous post online Gomez used a flamethrower to burn books with LGBTQ+ themes.

“This is what I will do to the grooming books when I become secretary of state,” she said. “These books come from a Missouri public library. When I’m in office, they will burn.” Video below:

Gomez’s latest video against gay was filmed in the Soulard District of St Louis, a neighborhood affiliated with LGBTQ+. It also featured music from Lupe Fiasco which made some recount the rapper’s stance on homophobia. “You should not use words like ‘faggot’ it’s derogatory and unacceptable … no room for homophobia in hip hop’, the rapper once said in a statement.

Lupe Fiasco in a response said “We are aware and currently taking action”, in connection to Gomez use of his song.

Gomez’s campaign director told NBC News: “You want to be gay? Fine be gay. Just don’t do it around children.” The statement also included familiar far-right complaints about drag shows, pronouns, and transgender rights.

25-year-old Valentina Gomez, from St Louis, described herself as “a real estate investor, financier, strategist, former NCAA Division I swimmer, relentless achiever, and a fierce advocate for the principles values we hold dear as Americans battling for a better future”.

According to Ballotpedia,Gomez who has a strong social media presence is among the frontrunners in an eight-strong Republican field, alongside members of the state House and Senate.
