A viral video captured the moment a dog abandoned by the road side in Long Beach, California desperately tried to get back to its owner by jumping inside the car. The owner had the car windows up and would not let the pet in. The dog chased its owner’s car as traffic started moving and was soon lost.
The footage was reportedly filmed by a food delivery driver. ‘The owner is literally leaving him⌠look! Oh my God”, the delivery driver said.
It was furthered gathered that the news of the abandoned dog caught the attention of Destiny Gomez, a woman who finds homes for stray animals.
The dog was later found by Gomez who got a foster home for it.
“When I watched that video, it broke my heart. I could not stop crying. I could not keep the dog out of my mind,” she said to NBC Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, the Governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem is being blasted after she revealed that she once killed her pet dog because it had developed a taste of blood – killing her neighbor’s chickens, was aggressive and untrainable, and cannot be used for hunting.
