Sara Gonzales shared a new tactic that is currently been used by human traffickers to trick and kidnap their victims, mostly women- the method is asking for help in using their credit cards in gas stations.

According to her, she has been approached twice within the month by men, asking her to come over to where their car was at the gas pump and assist them in using their credit card to pay.

She said what amused her most was when one allegedly said he left his credit card in the machine and persisted in asking her to follow him, despite her refusal and telling him to bring the card over.

“Both times I obviously declined and left ASAP, but this has never happened to me before”, she said. “Now it’s happened twice in a month under totally different circumstances??”

Apparently, when you go over to where their car is at the gas pump to assist, the victim will be pushed inside the vehicle and abducted.

“What adult owns a car but doesn’t know how to use a credit card at a gas pump??” she wondered.

She reported the new development to Jaco Booyens, an activist fighting against human trafficking and who runs the Jaco Booyens Ministeries, who confirmed that kidnappings in gas stations for the purpose of trafficking were on the rise.
