OFLeody Taveras(10-day, right quad, backdated to March 27, eligible to return April 7):Rangers general manager Chris Young said the Rangers hope Taveras will be ready to join them on the first road trip of the season, when they face the Chicago Cubs on April 7.

RHP Josh Sborz (15-day, ankle, backdated to March 27, eligible to return April 12): Young said Sborz injured his ankle a week to 10 days ago. He last pitched on March 22.

RHP Spencer Howard (15-day, shoulder impingement, lat injury, backdated to March 27, eligible to return April 12):Howard hasn’t pitched since March 1 and Young said he’s making good progress.

RHP Jake Odorizzi (60-day, right arm fatigue): Odorizzi did not pitch in a game this spring and will undergo further examination by Rangers physician Dr. Keith Meister.

RHP Glenn Otto (60-day, sprained shoulder, lat injury):Otto was examined by Dr. Meister and he has remained behind in Arizona to begin rehabilitation.

LHP Brett Martin (60-day, shoulder surgery):Martin had a surgery on January 18 and is expected to miss most of the 2023 MLB season.
