The Jetsons is an American animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. It originally aired in prime time from September 23, 1962, to March 17, 1963, and was a contrast to The Flintstones.
While the Flintstones was a cartoon based on life as a comical version of the Stone Age era, where machines are powered by birds and prehistoric dinosaurs, the Jetsons lived in the comical version of the future in the next century (100 years).
