After his wife made headlines for remarks some people took to be transphobic, Jason Aldean’s publicist confirmed that it will no longer represent the country singer.
The GreenRoom, a Nashville-based PR agency, has terminated its 17-year relationship with the “Got What I Got” hitmaker because it believes it is not the right company to represent him moving forward.
“Music has always been and remains The GreenRoom’s core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason,” GreenRoom co-owner Tyne Parrish told Billboard.
“We aren’t the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music—he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music.”
