The Nigerian army has released photos of IPOB fighters, termed terrorists, killed in a recent onslaught in Orlu, Imo state.
According to reports, the fighters were surrounded in a bush by the soldiers and then gunned down.
After the raid, various items and weapons were discovered, including some decomposing bodies stacked in a pit.
The clampdown by the soldiers is said to be in retaliation for the army couple killed and beheaded by the “unknown” gunmen on their way to their own wedding.
