Serena and Venus Williams, Will.i.am, Pharrell Williams, DJ Khaled, Tom Brady, David Beckham, and Michael Jordan were amongst the attendees who witnessed Max Verstappen race and win the inaugural Miami Grand Prix on Sunday.
The racing event which took place at the Hard Rock Stadium saw Verstappen get off quick, overtaking Sainz.
The Belgian-Dutch motorsports racing driver then came out ahead in lap nine and maintained the lead till the end of the race.
“I didn’t even do a [practice] start, so I didn’t know what to expect in the actual start. But we had a good launch and I saw the opportunity to go around the outside [of Sainz] in turn one, so I tried. Luckily, it worked.”
