White Whale Craft Ales
White Whale Craft Ales is a downtown craft beer retailer. They serve local beers from all over the world, according to their website. For those interested in trying something new, they also provide beer tastings.
“Our goal is to get as much of it as we can if it’s crafted with heart and soul, tastes well, and is hard to get,” their website states.
World Of Beer Bar And Kitchen
World of Beer offers over a hundred different beers from around the world, so there’s plenty to select from. They serve wings and burgers in addition to beer, so you can eat while you celebrate the celebration. You won’t have to travel far to have a beer and a bite to eat with locations in Savannah and Pooler.
The Gap is right next door to the World of Beer on West Broughton Street in Savannah. Sunday through Thursday, they’re open until 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, they’re open until 12 a.m.
Two Tides Brewing Company
James and Liz Massey, a Savannah native and a long-time homebrewer, established Two Tides Brewing Company in 2018. Their drafts are available in a variety of flavors, from light and refreshing to sour and foggy.
Sunday through Thursday, Two Tides Brewing Company is open until 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, until 12 a.m.
Moon River Brewing Company
Moon River Brewing Company is a great place to go if you want to experience something new that is both downtown and locally owned. Since 1999, they’ve been serving Savannah their own made craft beer. They not only provide craft beer in their beer garden, but they also offer a restaurant that serves burgers, sandwiches, and other dishes.
Moon River Brewing Company is near Whitaker Street on West Bay Street. Sunday through Thursday, they’re open until 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, they’re open until 12 a.m.
Crystal Beer Parlor
If you choose to drink at the Crystal Beer Parlor, you will be taking a sip of history. What was originally the “Henry Gerken Family Grocery Store” in the early 1900s is now, and has been for some time, the Crystal Beer Parlor.
The Crystal Beer Parlor may be found on the corner of West Jones and Jefferson Streets. From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., they are open. Tuesday through Sunday; Monday is closed.
