A social media user referred to as The_bearded_Dr_Sina, recently disclosed that Ata Esha, a generic name for degraded & spoilt tomatoes which are usually sold much cheaper than good quality ones is bad for human health.

According to him, Ata Esha tomatoes have a kind of Fungi referred to as Aspergillus, growing in them, which can cause liver cancer when eaten by humans.

The man who prides himself as a Doctor further revealed that a market woman told him the major buyers of such tomatoes were food restaurants, in highbrow areas.

He further wished that the relevant food authorities would do more to ensure safer foods are prepared in restaurants.
