As videos surface on how food vendors, especially those referred to as Aboki, wash and treat raw food items they sell, here is another reason why you should be careful of what you buy and directly eat from them.
An Aboki man, as they are usually called, was captured in a video where he was washing pieces of coconuts inside a gutter filled with water. The pieces of coconut that were in a tray probably fell on the ground and were covered with sand, so the man felt the best way to clean them so customers can buy and eat them was to wash them inside the gutter.

In another video, another aboki food seller was captured on video picking out tomatoes, cabbage and other food items from the dirty wastewater of an open manhole.
