After Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, lifted the ban on Twitter, Nigerians took to the platform to respond to the news, trolling the president himself as well as others.

Others, however, took time to share their thoughts on Windscribe VPN, which helped many of them access Twitter in Nigeria during the ban, as it was impossible to access the social media platform using any of the telecommunication networks available.

Windscribe VPN took note of the trend and added more humor to it via a tweet. However, they advised Nigerians that they might still be needed if their president decides to take down Twitter again because of something he doesn’t like in the future.
