The Allegheny police have arrested a man who was standing outside a hotel in Monroeville, covered in blood, after they received reports of large amounts of blood outside the room at about 9.30 am.
A search revealed the body of a badly mutilated woman stuffed underneath a bed with some of her body parts in a garbage bin.
No further details have been received on the identity of the deceased woman other than she is 49 years old.
The police have remanded the suspect, 37-year-old Matthew Gribschaw in prison, pending when he will be brought to court under charges for criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence.
