A video of a massive coconut crab snapping at a golf club is trending on the internet.
The video originally surfaced in October 2020, but suddenly gained popularity after a Reddit user shared it.
In the video, the coconut crab can be seen holding on to the golf clubs with its pincers.
The incident happened on Christmas Island, a national park in an Australian territory in the Indian Ocean, lying south of Java, Indonesia.
The coconut crab also referred to as robber crab or palm thief can grow up to 1 meter and weigh up to 4.1kg.
