Enugu-Ukwu community in Anambra state is holding another of its annual festival called the Ipia Agba.
Ipia Agba is an event where the Iga masquerades entertain the people in a flogging competition.
The Ipia Agba flogging competition by the Iga masquerades is contained under the Igu Aro Ceremony of the Community.
The main ceremony is usually held at a major center and other stand-alone sightings could be seen around the community.
Prizes are usually given out to individual masquerades winning different categories.
This year’s Ipia Agba flogging competition by the Iga masquerades will be held on 26 December 2021.
