ESPN reporter, Allison Williams has explained in a 5 minutes plus video, reasons why she would be leaving the sports channel next week over issues of Covid-19 vaccination.
In the video which the long-time reporter posted on her Instagram page, Allison Williams said she is leaving ESPN and Walt Disney Company, because they are mandating all their staff to get vaccinated, and she has been denied a request for accommodation (not to get vaccinated) as she is trying to get pregnant.
“I am not morally and ethically not aligned with this, ” reiterating her reason for refusing to get the covid vaccine shot.
She added that getting the Covid-19 vaccinations goes against her values and morals which also is the reason why she is successful working with ESPN.
“An injection that does not stop transmission and spread from me do not weigh in morally”
She further warned that there will come a time when the government or corporations mandate you to get something that does not align with your values…as power given seldom returns…and we fought and tried, expressing doubts over the future.
