The blank expression on the face of a 14-year-old boy on his birthday when his male gay parents kissed him on both sides of his cheek has left many talking on social media.
The photo had two gay men who had adopted the boy as their child, kissing him while holding “1” and “4” letters to signify his new age.
The emotionless look on the boy’s face had many saying he was not happy with having gay men as parents. The caption on the photo – “wouldn’t wish this position on my worstest of worst enemies”, posted by Dom Lucre on X, surely tipped many over.
“Their ‘son’ looks like he hates his life”, John wrote. Another said he would be laughed at in school because of the photo.
Vivas was of the opinion that something awful might be happening to the kid in the home, judging from his sad looks.
However, others said his looks were normal with boys of his age who don’t enjoy such a show of affection from their parents.
“He is 14. At 14, most kids HATE having parents display any kind of affection, straight or gay”, HealthNut wrote.
Another user said the parents were simply narcissists for posing with the kid for Instagram likes.
