Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has been arrested and repatriated back to Nigeria where he will face Felony charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja. It is unclear if he was arrested in the United Kingdom, though unconfirmed sources say he was arrested in Israel.
Nnamdi Kanu was rearrested after he fled Nigeria when the Military invaded his home at Afara-Ukwu. This is also coming after IPOB was designated as a terrorist group by the Buhari Administration.
Nnamdi Kanu is been charged to court because he is the leader of IPOB- the designated terrorist group where he will be facing treasonable felony charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The Indigenous People of Biafra referred to as IPOB has been requesting to cessate from Nigeria. The group which represents a large subset of the Igbo tribe claim they have been grossly neglected and unfairly treated by the Federal Government since the inception of Nigeria.
