Fulani Herdsmen attacked the community of Igangan and the palace of the traditional ruler, in Ibarapa North in Oyo State yesterday. The attack left an unconfirmed amount of people dead, but numbers ranged from 10 to 50 victims.
The Fulani Herdsmen started their attack on Igangan community by 11pm, Saturday, and left in the early hours of Sunday morning, without the hinderance of the police or any of the armed forces.
They attacked the Monarch’s palace, desecrating and slaughtering people inside, and also burnt a fuel station as well as other buildings and vehicles. They left leaving death and destruction in their path.

Buhari has refused to declare the Fulani herdsmen as terrorists despite the incessant attacks, leading to unquantifiable loss of lives and properties.
