Argentinean legend Diego Maradona is dead. The top footballer died after suffering a heart attack at 60 years old.
According to the preliminary autopsy report which is was yet to be officially released, Maradona died of heart failure in his Tigre home, in the province of Buenos Aires. In the autopsy report, it was gathered that he died in his sleep after the heart failure caused pulmonary edema, an accumulation of fluid in the lung’s tissue and air spaces.
Maradona also suffered from detected dilated cardiomyopathy, a medical condition that enlarges and weakens the heart muscles, to an extent that it is unable to pump enough blood to the rest of the body
The news of his passing was a hard hit on both his fans as well as all football lovers
