An American talented singer, Justin Timberlake, has opened up about being diagnosed with Lyme disease as he proceeded on his Forget Tomorrow tour, which came to an end on Wednesday.
The former member of NSYNC mentioned in a heartfelt post he shared on Instagram that the disease has been “relentlessly debilitating, both physically and mentally.”
The artist decided to continue the tour despite initially considering it. He said that he derives joy from performing, which helps to ease the burden on him.
The disease Lyme, which is commonly spread by deer ticks, may sometimes cause symptoms like the flu and joint pain and can also be treated with antibiotics at times.
While on the tour, Justin Timberlake encountered numerous health challenges, including bronchitis and laryngitis, which made him postpone 6 of his shows in the U.S., which were supposed to be held in October and November and have now been moved to February 2026.
The musician finally cancelled his last U.S. show in Ohio, part of the country, because of the flu.
Timberlake is popular for his viral songs such as “SexyBack, Mirrors, Bye Bye Bye, and It’s Gonna Be Me.” He appreciated his supporters for their show of love and expressed gratitude for pushing through the tour despite tough challenges.
