An apparition of Jesus Christ, though looking more like a veiled woman, signifying it was the Virgin Mary, appeared in the sky during a Filipino Catholic event at the Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Penafrancia in Naga City, in the Philippines.
According to Viralpress, the apparition happened when the crowd was singing in the open field. During the praise and worship session, a cloud rose and formed the image of a human with open arms.
The human posture looks very similar to the images of Jesus Christ or the Virgin Mary, which are commonly found with open hands. Though the sky apparition reported to be Jesus Christ, a long strand of cloud that could be seen running from the back of the head to the back, looks like a veil worn by women and used in photos of the Mother Mary.
However, the source took the long strand of cloud at the back as Jesus’ hair.
The spectacle was witnessed by hundreds of people, and many recorded it on mobile phones.
The event was organized by the catholic church as part of the National Youth Day celebration. An eyewitness said the sky was initially dark as if it wanted to rain, but as the mass went on, it suddenly became clear.
Though clouds have been seen to form many shapes in the sky, the timing and how it happened were enough for believers to know they’d witnessed a divine wonder in the sky from heaven.
