Texas congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is facing a legal battle and media backlash after she physically assaulted a reporter and went vulgar on disabled Texas Governor Greg Abbott who uses a wheelchair, calling him “Governor hot wheels”, and a “hot ass mess.
Jasmine Crockett’s troubles started following her remarks where she called for Elon Musk to be taken down amid the attacks on Tesla and its facilities.
While Crockett was within the congress, she was pressed by a correspondent of Laura Loomer who asked her to clarify her Tesla takedown comments. She ignored the pressman and continued walking. When the representative asked her if she condoned violence, she lashed her hands at him, grabbing his camera with her fingers and injuring the pressman with her fingernails.

“It’s clear elected Democrats have embraced violence against Trump supporters and members of the independent media, even in the halls of Congress”, Loomer wrote on social media.
Jasmine Crockett said she does not promote violence and also does not pardon violent actors such as those who attacked the US Capitol on January 6, taking a swipe at Trump who pardoned the insurrectors.
It was also reported that assault charges have been filed against the congresswoman.
Jasmine Crockett also drew media backlash when she mocked Texas Governor Greg Abbott who lost the use of his legs following a tree fall.
“Y’all know we got Governor hot wheels down here”, she said, during the human rights events in Los Angeles. “And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot ass mess”, she added.

In her defense, she said she was not ridiculing Greg Abbott’s condition but was only “thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors”.
She also claimed she called the Governor a hot ass mess because of his terrible policies.
She did not fail to link her actions to Trump by calling her critics to the first question President Trump’s use of racist comments and insensitive nicknames.
However, rep. Jasmine Crockett was censured following a resolution from the House Committee on Oversight and Investigations.
