A video making rounds on the Internet shows a humanoid robot seemingly attacking someone before it was quickly restrained by security during a display in China.
Details of the event have not been gotten but the artificial intelligence robot was walking towards a crowd of people behind a barricade who seemed to have gathered to watch its parade, when it suddenly lurched forward as if to head-butt a woman.
The spectators stepped back in fear as security and handlers held the robot back. Video below:
An argument for the robot claims it seemed to have tripped fall forward after its foot hit the barricade.
The viral video once again raised concern about the future of humans and robots in the event of an eventual fallout. Many theories have been put that artificial intelligence and robotics would become so advanced and powerful and will not need human intervention. They fear that the highly intelligent robots might want to wipe out human beings as narrated in many sci-fi movies.
In December 2023, a Tesla robot dog attacked its engineer in one of its factories, pinning him to the ground and leaving gaping bloody wounds.
Recently, Youtuber Kai Cenat made headlines after he filmed himself bullying a humanoid roboid in his home. The viral video left his fans fearing that his identity might have been marked by the AI and he will be traced and punished in the future when they take over the world.
