Popular actor and Mexican TV host Daniel Bisogno has passed away after battling with a severe health crisis and spending weeks in the hospital.
Bisogno hosted Ventaneando, a TV Azteca program that he anchored since the 90s.
Bisogno has done his job with utmost professionalism, wit, confidence, and efficiency, and he was nicknamed “El Muñe.” But things took a dark turn when his health became a problem.
It became so serious that he landed in the ICU and needed a liver transplant.
Speaking about Daniel’s health challenges, his brother Alejandro Bisogno, shared details.
“The problem is that a bacterium settled in the bile ducts. It’s a bacteria that has been mutating—each time antibiotics are administered, it becomes stronger,” he explained.
According to Alejandro, the hospital was Daniel’s second home in recent months. His doctors had to remove bile duct prostheses, which multiplied the bacteria that affected him.
New reports also confirmed that the bacteria had crept into His bloodstream, and Daniel also needed a Kidney transplant.
After the news of his passing was confirmed, friends and family paid their tributes on social media.
His longtime colleague and friend Part Chapoy shared a post on X (formally Twitter). “It is with immense sadness that I inform you that Daniel Bisogno has passed away,” she wrote.
