Whether the MVP race is centered around Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen or not, Zach Taylor, the Bengals coach, feels otherwise; he strongly believes that Joe Burrow is more deserving of the NFL’s top player award.
Taylor made his support for Joe Burrow public as he joined the MVP conversation after helping the Bengals to defeat the Broncos in overtime on Saturday.
“I don’t know that anybody can stand on the field and watch Joe Burrow and not say that he’s the best player in the world,” Taylor said.
“I would not trade Joe Burrow for any player in the universe, and to me? That’s MVP to me.”
Burrow did an outstanding display where he completed 39 of 49 passes for 412 yards and three touchdowns, including zero interceptions.
The head coach, Taylor, commended the performance of Burrow, where he called him the best player on the girls. Burrow has proven himself as one of the league’s elite talents with his standout play.
The Bengals cannot wait to emerge victorious in their coming game next week as they really hope that they can achieve favorable results elsewhere to get the playoff spot. This will give the player they called the best a chance to once again prove himself on the field in the postseason.
