Father Christmas popularly referred to as Santa Claus and the Grinch were fighting over money and were arrested by the police in Mexico.
The problem started when two performers dresses in Santa Claus and the Grinch costumes got into a quarrel because Santa was receiving more money than the “ugly green Grinch” during an event in Aguascalientes.
Both of them posed for pictures and had passerbys drop money in appreciation but when Grinch saw that Santa was getting much more than him, he reportedly became aggressive following an arguement which degenerated into a fight.

Viewers who saw the incident unfold had to call the police.
The video below showed Grinch being handcuffed and Santa Claus being attended to from an apparent injury to the head. He also arrested and placed in cuffs after getting the medical aid.
The person making the video said their permit was revoked and the show canceled.
According to media reports, Christmas fighting events between Santa Claus and Grinch are usually organised during the festive season – these add to the increased rate of end-of-year-crimes.
