A man driving a Porsche Macan and on his way back after getting a dialysis treatment crashed into a barbing salon, gun shop, and parked vehicles, leaving a trail of destruction.
The accident happened on Saturday, December 14, in Houston, Texas, along Westheimer Road near Highway 6, when the man was exiting a parking space and most likely suffered a medical emergency with his foot on the gas and the car in reverse.
A surveillance camera captured the car coming down at speed and hitting a vehicle. With the 61-year-old’s foot still on the throttle, the car continued at top speed and crashed into the wall of 32 Degreez Barbershop, where it had both workers and customers scampering for safety.
The video below shows the moment the car crashed into the barbing salon. The boy seen in the footage was hit by the vehicle and they both found themselves through the wall and into an adjacent gun shop. Watch:
Luckily the 10-year-old survived with internal bleeding and is receiving treatment.
The car also damaged other buildings including a church.
The driver of the car also survived the crash. He recalled putting the car in reverse and trying to pull out of the parking lot before blacking out and waking up with himself and his car in the midst of rubble.
