Quarterback Cam Ward who plays for the Miami Hurricanes have broken NCAA record in his last college game after he threw his 156th career touchdown pass on a 4-yard connection with Jacolby George when the first quarter of the Pop-Tarts Bowl was ongoing.

This pass broke another record in Division I that was formerly held by Case Keenum of Houston who had 155 pass between 2007-2011.

The newly broken record by Ward may be facing challenges very soon from Dillon Gabriel who plays for the Oregon. Gabriel played 153 touchdown passes and may also add more in the College Football Playoff.

The college career of Cam Ward came to an end as one of the most successful quarterbacks some the begging of NCAA. He was picked as the third all-time in passing yards with 17,999, coming after Keenum (19,217) and Gabriel (18,423).

Among the records that Ward holds include Miami’s single-season records for yards, completions, and touchdown passes, and he has a mission to plan the school’s completion percentage records for a career and season.

Ward is not sitting in the sixth position on the NCAA all-division list and he left a legacy that only few can break it.
