A 17-year-old boy opened fire in a crowd during a Halloween event on Friday in Downtown Orlando, Florida, killing two people and injuring six others.
Footage from surveillance camera captured the black teen walking in the crowd when he suddenly turned around and started shooting at people. It happened in the presence of nearby police officers who quickly took him down.

The boy was identified as Dwayne Edgar. According to police records, he had been previously arrested for grand theft charges.
Edgar started his attack at the Central Boulevard and Orange Avenue block of the downtown area, sending people scampering for safety. Edger was quickly subdued by the police who were massively patrolling the area due of the large crowd drawn by the Halloween event.
Footage of the aftermath of the shooting showed the probable dead and critically injured lying on the streets. Though the police have not yet gotten a motive for the shooting, online ranters claim the news was not making waves enough because the crime was committed by a black.

The suspected massshooter was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and six counts of attempted first-degree murder, and according to State Attorney Andrew Bain, might be tried as an adult because of the severity of the crime.
He made his court appearance on Saturday – though absent and represented by his mother, and was ordered by the Judge to be securely held behind bars until his next court hearing.
The Orlando Police Department is still investigating the shooting and is asking the public for photos or videos that could help them.
Following the shooting, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer placed a curfew from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m in the downtown area and banned the sales of alcohol after midnight for one week.
