The concerning moment was captured during the church’s livestream, showing Bishop Jakes pausing mid-service and looking a bit distressed.
Witnesses observed him initially sitting down and wiping his head with a cloth, shortly after remarking that preaching is “getting back more than you gave.” The situation escalated when Jakes appeared to convulse after lowering his microphone, prompting immediate response from nearby staff members who quickly surrounded him to provide assistance.
