Man Steals A Vehicle, Drives It To Court For A Hearing For Stolen Car - Video

A man had to make it to court by all means for his hearing on car theft and when he did not find any means of transport to see the Judge, he decided to steal a car.

It happened in Oklahoma when Cody Adams eagerly begged people at a gas station for a lift to the courthouse but was repeatedly turned down.

At a point, he must have noticed he was running out of time and risked missing his court hearing. That was when he spotted a truck parked nearby with its engine running and no driver/occupant inside or nearby and decided to steal it.

His drive-theft-auto instinct kicked in and Adams quickly hopped inside the vehicle and drove straight to Pawnee County courthouse, 30 miles away.

On getting to his destination, he parked the vehicle and proceeded to enter the courthouse for his hearing. However, he was stopped and arrested by a police officer, but the cop allowed him to attend his court hearing before taking him away.

Cody Adams told the trooper he was only borrowing the vehicle.

He was charged with larceny of a vehicle and was sent to Payne County jail with a $10,000 bond.
