Days after the video of an Ohio woman eating a cat she had stomped and killed made news, Haitian immigrants in Springfield are being wrongly accused of being on the prowl, stealing people’s pets, and eating them.
There are many false reports on X about people’s cats going missing and most likely, ending up as food for homeless immigrants who have now flooded the city. Claims that gear towards racism and anti-immigration.
A user claimed a neighbor’s cat went missing, only to be discovered carved up and hung on a tree by the immigrants who were preparing for food. Her claims were made without any form of evidence.
A photo that was trending with the news showed a man walking along the roadside and holding a goose. It happened in Ohio on July 28, 2024, but the geese were already dead after they were hit by a vehicle.
During a Springfield City Commission meeting, a woman named Noel lamented that she no longer feels safe in her home. According to her, the foreign men would scream at her and throw things onto her property, despite how hard she tried to make the best of the situation.
She revealed that she and her aged husband are seriously considering leaving the city they once took as a home for over 45 years unless something is urgently done to address the situation.
This is coming after 27-year-old Allexis Telia Ferrell allowed her cannibal instincts to take over when she killed a cat and started eating it right there on the road, in public.
It happened in a housing complex on 13th Street SE in Canton, Ohio. Shocked neighbors had to call 911, and the police arrived to meet the woman still on the dead cat.

Following her indictment for cruelty to pet animals, Allexis initially pleaded not guilty but changed her plea when she appeared in court on Monday, December 3, 2024, to a guilty plea, after which she was sentenced to 2 years in prison. Prior to that, she had been subjected to mental checks following the order of the court.
However, she will be spending 30 months behind bars after the court discovered she had violated her probation on 2 prior cases of child endangerment.
