Wolfie Kahletti, a TikToker who sees himself as a “Super Villian” and “troll” and enjoys looking for trouble, filmed himself spraying insecticide on fruits, vegetables, and other packed food items on display in a Walmart store.
The video which was posted on Reddit continued with the prankstar taking out the contaminated food off the shelves and throwing them in a trash bin. Video below:
The 27-year-old whose real name is Charles Smith voluntarily turned himself in to the Mesa police after the department was able to identify and contact him with the help of Tempe Police Department, where he admitted to the crime.
The incident happened on the night of December 19 at one of the Walmart outlets located at 1955 S. Stapley Drive when Kahletti wearing a pink head cover, entered the store and got hold of a can of Hot Shot Ultra Bed Bug & Flea Killer for the camera to fully capture.
He then fully records himself poisoning the food items by spraying the pesticides directly on them, after which he posted the video online but later deleted it.
The Mesa Walmart Supercenter also reported that it removed food items from its shelves and also sanitized the affected areas after it discovered the video and is taking pre-emptive actions to keep its customers safe.
While condemning the reckless actions teens might be tempted to try out to go viral on social media, the Mesa police said that he was jailed and will be charged with poisoning, criminal damage, endangerment, and theft.
Wolfie Kahletti operates a TikTok account with the username WolfieKahletti where he claims he makes between $6,000 to $10,000 – an unverified claim that is now widely reported on media and might only lure others into such a dangerous act.
