A man was captured on camera defending himself with a wooden plank against 3 stray dogs that were attacking him, and I couldn’t understand why the woman who was recording inside the safety of her car was screaming at him to stop.
Like, he should stop and allow himself to get bitten?
The man climbed atop the bonnet of a vehicle, holding a wooden plank in his hands. He then defended himself by hitting the dogs on their heads as they came up to the truck to attack him.
Two of the dogs instantly fell into a deadly seizure while the third escaped alive, and made a turnaround for another seemingly attack.

While Dogs can be outright nasty, just like this one embarrassing its owner by masturbating in public, dog attacks, especially by strays, are common on the streets. According to Wagner Reese, the United States alone records about 4.5 million reported cases of dog bites, and less than 100 people die from such attacks every year, with many victims taking legal action against the erring dog owners who most times failed to keep their dogs in a leach.
Just as seen in the video, most human fatalities from dog attacks are majorly from pit bulls, which comprise only 6% of the dog population in the US.
News of dog attacks are not rare in the media. In August, a police officer was at the center of a debate when he shot and killed a family pet dog in the presence of kids. Surveillance footage showed the dog charging towards the officer before he fired two shots at it.
In January 2023, 60-year-old former Zambian footballer Philemon Mulala was mauled to death by his three pet dogs in his own home. Though he was reportedly killed by his pit bulls, a video showing a man being mauled by three pitbulls was wrongly reported as him.
In an unfortunate event, a mother mistakenly shot her own son when she wanted to shoot a dog that had run off from its owner’s home.
I hope the man in our video was safe and was not bitten by the dogs. Rabies is a deadly disease that is carried by pets and wildlife. For pets, it’s mostly spread by dogs, especially unvaccinated stray dogs like this.
