Young Thug’s trial took a wild turn when his lawyer revealed in the courtroom that the judge, Ural Glanville, held a secret meeting with the prosecutors and star witness to his case without him, as constitutionally required (footage of the court proceeding below).
When confronted as to why the meeting was held in his absence, Judge Ural Glanville did not give an answer but instead requested to know how the attorney, Brian Steel, got to know about it.
The rapper’s lawyer refused to disclose how he got to know about their secret meeting citing he needs to be sure what he is saying is accurate.
The judge replied that they both would have some problems, citing the lawyer got information about the court’s private ex-parte conversation with a party.
“Why is it proprietary”? Brian Steel asked when Glanville said he was concerned he got the court’s proprietary information.
judge, Ural Glanville subsequently ordered lawyer Brian Steel to be taken into custody.
