Emma Stone’s portrayal of Bella Baxter, a childlike woman in Victorian London who undergoes a brain transplant, was lauded for its depth and humor. This accolade places Emma Stone among an elite group of 13 women who have won two Best Actress Oscars. Her first win was for ‘La La Land’ in 2017, and she has been a familiar face at the Oscars, with nominations in the supporting actress category in 2015 and 2019.
