Locatelli Stuns AC Milan With Lone Goal At San Siro

Manual Locatelli’s deflection was enough to give Juventus all three points against his former side, AC Milan in a thrilling contest in San Siro.

In the 40th minute, Malik Thiaw of AC Milan received a yellow card for a last-man foul on Moise Kean.

In the 63rd minute, Juventus took advantage of the numbers and Locatelli scored with a deflected long-range shot off Rade Krunic, catching Milan keeper Antonio Mirante off guard.

Juve are now third in the table with 20 points, with Milan second on 21, one point behind leaders Inter Milan after the ninth round.

AC Milan were without several top players, including their first-choice keeper, Mike Maignan, and defender Theo Hernandez, both of whom were suspended for the match.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri was frustrated with his players towards the end of the match, as they missed many clear-cut chances.

The 56-year-old threw his jacket and tie and stormed off the pitch, which resulted in him receiving a yellow card.

AC Milan would be facing the reigning Serie A champions, Napoli on Sunday night. While Juventus would be hosting Fiorentina.
