Lebron James took charge of the Los Angeles Lakers in a late comeback win against Kevin Durant’s Phoenix Suns at Crypto.com Arena.
The Los Angeles Lakers were lagging by eight points while the game entered its fourth quarter, but the Lakers outscored the Suns 28-11 to finalize an epic 100-95 comeback win.
James played 35 minutes, including the entire fourth quarter, finishing 21 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks, while Anthony Davis finished with 30 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and three blocks in the win.
Kevin Durant scored 39 points and 11 rebounds on 14-of-28 shooting for the Phoenix Sun since Bradley Beal and Devin Booker were injured.
The Lakers started to face, with Anthony Davis sending in five of Los Angeles’s nine points.
Towards the end of the first quarter, sent a 21-point consecutive run to double Sun’s digits and put them ahead with a 12-point lead at the end of Q1.
After the first half, the Lakers had brought the deficit to only four points with James and Anthony Davis on 11 points each.
Kevin Durant already had 30 points on 17 shots at the end of the third quarter, needing only 7 more to pass Hakeem Olajuwon as the 12th all-time scorer for the Phoenix Suns.
