In Week 2’s game against the Seahawks, Jared Goff’s string of passes without an interception came to an end with a pick-six. He had completed 383 passes but not a single one.
He has one currently across the last three games.
Rudy Ford intercepted his second try on the third play from scrimmage on Thursday night. The pick was recovered 21 yards by Ford to the Detroit 16.
As the Lions kept the Packers to nil yards on three plays, it set up a chip-shot field goal. Jordan Love completed a 9-yard pass to Romeo Doubs after throwing an incomplete pass and getting sacked for a 9-yard loss by Aidan Hutchinson.
A field goal of 34 yards was made by Anders Carlson.
Goff answered, which was admirable.
On the Lions’ following possession, he was 3-of-3 for 62 yards and a score. Amon-Ra St. Brown caught the 24-yard touchdown throw, while Sam LaPorta, a rookie tight end, caught one for 35 yards.
