Alexia Russo Scores First Arsenal Goal In Comeback Win Over Paris FC

England’s star, Alexia Russo has scored her first goal for Arsenal after leaving Manchester United in a comeback win to keep the Gunners Champions League hopes alive. 

She came off the bench in her first Champions League start for her new club who were two goals down already. 

Paris FC took the lead in the first-round qualifying match, thanks to a brace from Mathilde Bourdieu. 

In the 80th minute, Russo pulled one back for the Premier League giants. She capitalized on a defensive error and shot at goal, with the effort going through the goalkeeper.

Jen Beattie scored in the 96th minute for Arsenal to level the game and force extra time. 

Arsenal return to domestic action on October 1st against Liverpool.
