Man Becomes Only Passenger On Plane Flight After Hours Of Delay

A man got a private jet experience despite paying for commercial flight fare when he became the only passenger to board an American Airlines plane

Phil Stringer booked his flight from Oklahoma to North Carolina on Sunday at 6.30 a.m.

However, Stringer – a realtor from Greensboro, had his early morning flight delayed because of the storms that saw thousands of flights canceled or delayed.

Every other passenger billed for the flight either rebooked their flights or gave up entirely as the departure took much longer, and was pushed back seven times.

A patient Phil Stringer kept on waiting and reaped the reward when he was the only one available to board when the plane was ready to take off 12 minutes past midnight.

“I’m the only person on the plane and they have an entire flight crew, they don’t want to do this flight,” he laughed into the camera. “They pulled them from the hotel to come do this flight for just one person.”

“I felt so bad [for the crew],” he added. “They were at their hotel, they were going to go to bed. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, they literally had to come here for me.’”
