Travis Kelce showed it was all about family after he hugged his brother Jason, after his team, Kansas City Chiefs, defeated his brother’s team, Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57.
As the Chiefs celebrated their victory and Travis Kelce gave a memorable postgame interview alongside Patrick Mahomes, he made sure to see his brother following the game, as the Kelce brothers shared an embrace and briefly spoke as the confetti fell down on State Farm Stadium.
At Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, Jason and Travis Kelce will be the first brothers to play against each other in the NFL’s title game. They won’t be on the field at the same time – Jason is Philadelphia’s starting center while Travis is Kansas City’s starting tight end – but one of them will end the night as a champion for a second time while the other will be bitterly disappointed at coming up empty.
Jason Kelce could be heard congratulating Travis, even cracking a smile and telling him to “go celebrate.” Before they part, both Kelce’s told each other “I love you.”
The mother of the Kelce brothers was also seen sharing hugs with both sons after the game.
For the last two weeks, the Kelces were a major focus in the buildup to Super Bowl LVII.
“To see family be in all its glory, get all the flowers, my mom being the center of attention on the jumbotron before the game on the biggest stage, being able to get closer to my brother throughout the season and then meet him at the mountaintop,” Travis said, “It’s the best feeling in the world.”
