Cindy Williams, who was best known as one-half of the hit 70’s television show Laverne & Shirley, has died at the age of 75 years old.

According to People, Cindy Williams died last week Wednesday. The information was revealed by her family’s spokeswoman Liza Cranis, on Monday. On how Cindy Williams died, she said she passed away peacefully following a brief illness.
There was no information on why the news of Cindy’s death was delayed by the family and is reported to the public now.
In the statement, the children remembered their mother as kind, beautiful, and generous with a penchant for saving animals.
“The passing of our kind, hilarious mother, Cindy Williams, has brought us insurmountable sadness that could never truly be expressed. Knowing and loving her has been our joy and privilege. She was one of a kind, beautiful, generous and possessed a brilliant sense of humor and a glittering spirit that everyone loved.”
“We have always been, and will remain, SO proud of her for many things… her lifelong mission to rescue animals, her prolific artistry, her faith, and most of all, her ability to make the world laugh!” they continued.
“May that laughter continue in everyone, because she would want that. Thank you for loving our Mom, she loved you too.”
Cindy Williams was born in Los Angeles, California, on August 22, 1947. She started her professional career by landing major commercials such as Foster Grant sunglasses and TWA. Her first acting roles on TV, include “Room 222”, “Nanny and the Professor”, and “Love, American Style”.
In 1982, Cindy Williams got married to Bill Hudson of the musical trio Hudson Brothers. Their marriage produced two children; a daughter, Emily, and a son named Zachary, but ended in divorce in 2000.
