A young boy wearing Croatia’s jersey felt sorry for Neymar after Brazil was defeated by his own country (Croatia) and lost out in the World Cup.

The player escort, also referred to as mascot child wearing a Croatia jersey number 4, stood off the pitch and was waving at Neymar, who then walked over to him and both shared a hug.

Player escorts or Mascot children are kids that accompany football players into the pitch for a match. You might see them walk side by side and take photographs with their respective teams/country.

Croatia beat Brazil out of the World Cup in the quarterfinals via penalty, dashing the hopes of many.

Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, popularly known as Tite, is expected to step down as the coach/manager of Brazil’s national football team after failing to direct the captain, Thiago Silva, and his team to win the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

Tite has been under heavy criticism for failing to win the World Cup after the Brazilian Football Federation vice-president (CBF) Francisco Novelletto, said he would want him to continue as coach if they win the World cup.

In his 6 years as manager of the Brazil national football team, nicknamed Seleção Canarinho, Tite has had 60 wins, 15 draws, and one defeat in 81 matches, in which Brazil scored a total of 174 goals and had 30 balls slip inside their net.
