Video footage of the events leading up to the shooting in Mall of America, located in Nordstrom, which left a 19-year-old boy dead has been gotten and reviewed by the police.

The sounds of multiple gunshots ringing through the air in the Mall left holiday shoppers scampering for safety and shop owners quickly closing down.

How The Shooting In Mall Of America Happened

According to multiple sources, two groups of people were having an argument and as it escalated, one of them brought it his gun and shot the late victim many times.

The Mall Of America store where the shooting occurred is located in Nordstrom.

An angry Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodge warned against helping the killer in whatever way while urging the person to turn him/herself to the police and face the law.

“We are going to catch you, we are going to lock you up and you are going to get an orange jumpsuit,” he said. “It’s just a matter of when it’s going to happen”.

“If anybody helps these people — I mean so much as buy them a Happy Meal, give them a ride,” the visibly upset chief said. “We’re going to lock you up with them.”

A police officer who was stationed nearby at the time of the shooting and rushed to the scene was unable to save the life of the teen despite his efforts to revive him.

The victim had been identified and the family notified of the loss

When Will The Mall Of America reopen

Both stores of the Mall of America located in Nordstrom and Bloomington were closed following the shooting incident. However, Bloomington will reopen on Saturday while the Nordstrom branch will remain closed.

Investigations are on to get the killers. The video footage of the entire incident which reportedly lasted about 30 seconds had also been reviewed and the suspects are in the process of being identified.
